Michelle Keating Receives
MS Nurses “Hope” Award

Michelle Keating, R.N., OCN, cancer educator in the John F. Krey III Cancer Information Center, recently received the International Organization of MS Nurses “Hope” award at the Consortium of MS Centers meeting in Denver. Keating received the award for presenting a poster, “Quilting for Healing and Hope for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)”.

The award is presented each year for the poster (see below) which best represents a spirit of optimism and possibility related to clinical care or education for patients with MS and their families. This year, there were approximately 300 posters at the conference.
