MS Nursing: A Global Success Story
Linda Morgante, RN,MSN,MSCN, CRRN
Linda Morgante is the Director of Clinical Services
for the Maimonides MS Care Center in Brooklyn, New York, and its satellite
center at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. She has been working as a MS nurse
since 1986. She was the Vice President for the Charter Board of the
IOMSN in 1997, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors
since 1998. She is Co-chairman of the Communications Committee, and
Chairman of the Fellowship Committee for the IOMSN.
Linda has been active in the Consortium of MS centers since its inception,
and is currently a Peer Reviewer for the website. She is also the Co-Editor
of the MS Exchange. She has authored and co-authored several articles
and book chapters on issues related to MS nursing, and has lectured
extensively on research and treatment, symptom management, and hope.
She has a particular interest in promoting self- care strategies to
prevent stress and burnout in MS nurses.
